After a symmetrical jewelry design is drafted, the sketch goes to our Computer Aided Design (CAD) expert. In the past, we relied upon old world craftsmanship to produce traditional jewelry, now we use high tech manufacturing methods.
Our highly skilled CAD jewelry design professional perfects the geometry and with vast experience, identifies and eliminates any production difficulties not already anticipated by Pierre. His CAD file is then sent to a rapid prototyping machine which “prints” the super high resolution “wax” model necessary for fine jewelry manufacture.
Using high tech manufacturing to execute an ancient process, this model is turned into an identical piece of precious metal via the lost wax casting method. Then returns the old world craftsmanship, our world class bench jewelers. Master jewelers complete the high tech manufacturing process, setting the gemstones in a variety of ways and finishing the metal in a variety of ways, all by hand in Los Angeles, California.
